Boredom leads to blogging

I know it's been a really long time since I last posted anything and decided I'm due for another post. Even though I think a total of 3 people look at my blog...I still feel the need to update it. :P Not much has really been going on in the social aspect of my life lately thanks to my wonderful Ulcerative Colitis which keeps me tethered to a bathroom most of my day. It's so incredibly frustrating to go through this and have it be such a process. From my body not responding to the drugs like it should to my insurance company being bastards and not covering things that will make me better. About the only non-hassle thing has been my leave from work amazingly. I guess it makes me love and appreciate my job that much more! :) I hate having no energy on a daily basis and I hate that I can't do things like go to the Grand Canyon with my family visiting from the current wasteland that is Iowa. There have been small improvements, but they're so small and have taken so long to improve it's hard to really appreciate them. I just want to be better and resume my life again. Especially since my lease is up in a little over a month and I don't have a single thing packed! Hard to do when you barely have the energy to walk up a flight of stairs. Then there's another thing I'm kind of stressing about...moving! I don't really have any good male friends to help with the big stuff, so short of bribing a couple friends' husbands I'm not really sure what I'm going to do there. I guess it'll all work itself out in the end, I just wish I had the peace of mind now to know how. Well I suppose that's a long enough ramble for my first post in months! Thanks for letting me vent. :)
