the squeaky wheel

So tonight started by going out to happy hour with some friends and then progressed to another bar for karaoke. Some more friends joined us at the 2nd bar and it was suddenly very evident that I was the only one not 1/2 of a couple. On a day-to-day basis I don't really notice or even care that I'm single, but when you're the 11th wheel it's pretty noticeable. Aside from that, it was such a good night because my core group of friends got together for the first time in so long. Oh how I miss being young and carefree and able to just hang out with friends and do stupid stuff that makes you laugh till you cry! Thanks for listening to (or reading) my mini pity party. Time to go to sleep now.
